GPOY Gettin' stuff done.
What I’ve done today before noon:
-Woke up at 4:15. Went to the gym with Ashley and Andi.
-Cooked chicken spinach lasagna and baked chocolate coffee irish cream cupcakes for a man that I work with and his family.
-Washed all the dishes after and cleaned the kitchen.
-Two loads of laundry.
-Cleaned my room.
-Read.
*Now I’m off to class and then to work on Chris’ dreads....

A Few Ingredients for Growth.

Last night I dreamed I was a rainstorm that was terrified to let loose all the rain that I had carried for so long because if I did not have it, then maybe, just maybe I did not exist. I’m avoiding Tumblr today because I am sure it will be overloaded with many unhealthy, over-emotional, and exaggerated posts on love, marriage, V-day, etc. We have put so many standards on love and what it should look like and how it should “save” us if it’s “real.” Not that I am above all of that and know all the answers… It’s so easy to let these...
